There's so little joy in me these days. I keep trying: new experiences, reliving memories; outward / inward; extroverted needs, introverted sanctuaries...
Every poem lately has been an attempt at heart massage. But the damn thing won't tick.
Of course, it's not a foreign feeling. Living with dysthymia gets you like this. But I tire of this barrier; this filter not letting any emotion truly in. Albeit necessary. There's no real lows, but there aren't any moments transcending "stability" either. I crave an 8/10, all I'm getting is sixes.
I just want to go to bed feeling satisfied or accomplished again one night, you know? Happy. Growling content in my bed at that final stretching of legs.
I know I just have to keep soldiering on and those feelings will return. But by now it's been so long that the traditional doubting if 'this' isn't just 'it' returns.
Maybe I need a break.
if he just made me an earlier grave like this, i may just go ahead and DIE then
It simultaneously feels like things that happened only a few weeks ago actually happened ages ago, and like the past few weeks have been a bunch of nothingness passing by really quickly. And the future seems forever away, too.
You might say I’m :) living in the moment :)
For a long period of time I use to wonder what was the point of living, we all end up dying anyways, and everything is temperary. So, does anything really matter? My answer to this use to be just learning more and more, because I have always been and probably aLwaYs will be a curious person. Then I met people who I love dearly, and realized that I will die, everything I do may not matter, I may not leave an imprint on this earth, and if I do it’s temperary, but that doesn’t matter. I want to live a happy life or at least be as happy as I can be and partially to having a happy life to me personally is being surrounded by amazing people. So, we all know the beginning and the ending of our life, being born and then dying. But the point of staying alive to me is meeting and being surrounded by extraordinary people and to keep learning more about my curiosities.

I’d like to sit with the world not in it watch everything just roll its way on by trepidation before a storm what is it to be held here arms widened to the sky? I am sinking my teeth into moist air the light is fading out I am here I am not watching this is real I think? head humming in circles silence silence silence the cool breath of night. I am here.
