How to Paint/Hide Electrical Outlets and Plates
A post we found by Selina, the author of the "Creative Juices Decor" blog, really resonated with us at UglyOutlet:
I just finished painting all my electrical outlets because I kept looking in my kitchen and thought, wow, having all those white outlets on my stone back splash really makes things look busy, I need to CAMOUFLAGE them.
The entire post is certainly worth a read. She outlines a fairly involved process of camouflaging her outlets in order to create an uninterrupted aesthetic throughout her living space. The result is astonishing, and one of the primary things we're addressing with LivingPlug.
