livio and razlo doodles and studies, after three years i’m so happy to have finally seen razlo in stargaze!! fully animated!! YAYYYYY!!! but also man😶‍🌫️🫥😭💔(iykyk) but like how i did three years ago with tristamp, im just gonna treasure the best of what we got 🥹 <-trying their best

i have a lot of thoughts about Stargaze but since others have expressed them far better than i would, i'll skip over that. (i will say that despite my disappointment that it doesn't seem to have the heart that Stampede did, i am still enjoying it very much, even with all its faults.)

but there is something that i wanted to discuss because i can see a lot of people are pretty worked up over this line from Razlo:

and when i saw it, i think i might have gasped a little, because i had a flashback to a bluesky post from last summer talking about the differences in the Dark Horse translation vs the Overhaul translation, and why the Dark Horse version wasn't as bad as people make it out to be. unfortunately, i can't link the original post because it looks like the profile has been deleted, but i do have screenshots saved, just because i like to keep a folder of entertaining Trigun tweets and screenshots that i like to reread from time to time.

so yeah, it may have been a little jarring to hear Razlo scream he was getting hard, but in reality, it's just one more thing that Orange pulled directly from the source and isn't as out there as it seems.
