Sooooo, this is just a few of them, off the top of my head right now

Pecco/Alex Marquez

Ive been thinking about them for a lonngggg time but especially now. I was thinking, and it would probably either be a very toxic revenge kind of thing or a sweet secret relationship sort of. Or, I could write them both and therefore I wouldn't have to pick ;3 I was surprised they only had 7 fics on ao3, i was expecting a LOT more

Pecco/Vale

the TOXICITY of it all....oh god, I could talk about the vision of them for DAYS. I can definitely imagine how the fic would go, and it wouldnt be nice. Also, I was ALSO surprised they only have like 9 fics, this one isnt even that out there or anything

Bezz/Vale

Anybody x Vale, honestly. Again, this can only go one way in my brain. Ooohhhh, maybe even an omegaverse sort of thing. This would be a brutal one to write but it gives me so many thoughts...

Marc/Jorge Martin

Honestly, I can imagine this one actually being sweet/less angsty. I was thinking about a secret relationships, either a 2023-2024 season thing or a 2025 season hurt/comfort. Getting closer because of the injury, caring for bruises, the vunerability of pain etc etc

Fermin/Marc

This, mixed with some weird and slightly toxic vibes.....yummy. Like, a mentor/mentee type of fic with lots of guilt and unhinged behaviour

Alex Marquez/Vale

YOU CAN 10000% SEE THE VISION ON THIS. RIGHT. Especially if mixed with a Marc/Pecco or Marc/Bezz ship. The manipulation, stepping out of someones shadow, using vunerability for malicious purposes, etc etc

Enea/Marc

Again, this would likely be a toxic angry sex type of thing with possibly a developing relationship? I'm actually not too sure!! But I can deff see something like that going down

Pedro/Marc or Pedro/Vale

I can see myself writing more for this, even outside of the No connections, No feelings series. The dynamic was very fun to write, and it could be cool to return and explore it in a different way

Marc/Dovi

This isnt a rare pair, but I need to include them. They took over my brain and I can 10000% see myself writing for them very VERY soon

That's also all I can think of right now, but I am honestly open to anything, so if you have any ideas for rare pairs....my inbox is right there ;3

1. Fear and anger are some of the best motivators.

2. So is love. But being scared and raging are much easier than being in love.

3. Marc was is in love with Valentino.

4. He would never admit it to anyone, not even to himself. The same way Valentino would never admit the way he held onto his body after tough crashes like he was praying to a merciless God.

5. Crashing hurts.

6. It hurts even more when you see someone you love going past as you sit there. And there is an immeasurable amount of pain in laying in gravel alongside the one you love, knowing they will never dare to look you in the eyes.

7. Marc wasn't surprised that Valentino wouldn't look him in the eyes.

8. It still hurt when he realized that he could do anything and yet he would never meet his gaze across the room the same way he used to.

9. Alcohol and cigarettes are bad for you, as is pain.

10. He would still take both of those over the pain of losing Valentino.

11. There was nothing he could've done to prevent it from happening. Even if he pushed less, obeyed more, kept his head down and let Valentino past, it still would've imploded.

12. Marc still wished he could get one more attempt, to see if he could fix it if given the chance.

13. He got better.

14. He also lied a lot. To himself, mostly. To the press when they asked about Valentino. To Valentino, despite not talking to him. Pretending to be alright felt like lying, even though he was sure Valentino saw through it. He wasn't sure if he wanted him to.

15. You get used to pain the same way you get used to cigarette smoke flooding your senses.

16. He still associated both of those with nights that he spent in Valentino's bed.

17. Marc's chest still ached when he saw someone smoking, despite knowing it was stupid. He would never admit it, but he associated the action with evenings that Valentino and him spent together.

18. He wasn't sure it would ever go away. This was never going to work.

19. Marc still begged the skies for a chance to talk to him properly again, even if just for once.

20. This was always going to be a learning opportunity.

21. He would never learn anything from it except that pain and love were the same when you closed your eyes.

22. Pain was a better motivator than anything else.

The words would usually make Marc protest. They should make him want to fight, to defend himself. Implying that he was dangerous or trying to die should be insulting and make him angry. But he was just tired.

Marc doesn't care anymore, not about anything. Valentino finds out in a way that he didn't expect when he first came to pick a fight.
