Okay, hear me out now..

Vale is a well known doctor, Marc is the crazy motogp rider who gets into crashes, and Vale is the one stitching him up all the time

After Marc's first championship, Vale texts him "Good job" (though their texts are rarely this normal)

Marc hurts himself in the offseason (of course he does) and texts Vale if he can tell him what to do

After Vale doesn't respond, he calls him, half drunk, cuz the injury is that he accidentally broke a bottle and it cut his hand, and one of his fingers is bleeding badly

Thankfully, Vale's clinic (? or, where he works/maybe he lives where Marc currently is, like a friend's party) is close, and Vale comes over with a special first aid

He patches Marc's hand, saying something like "you should be more careful"

(cue smut? possibly?)
