HELLO!! oh gosh your art inspires me so muchh and i know you've probably been getting this a lot ... i really want to study the way you do it and I've found out you've posted lots of nice tutorials!! which i really appreciate on my side :') i wanted to know the way you pick colours ... honestly i tried doing it but i just cant seem to get it!! i love you very much/p, hope youre healthy and well 💞

thank you so much! unfortunately this is a trickier thing for me to show in a succinct tutorial because. it changes for me all the time! (plus there are many much better worded posts on color theory than i could make lol) a lot of my current work uses gradient maps which i put on super low opacity over my work to add a more color variation

or ill have a base color in mind and to make all the other colors cohere i just lightly paint some flats on top to let the underlying base peak through, similar to traditional painting! its old as hell but ive done a walk through of this method here

and a HUGE one for me is inspiration. just seeing photos or other art with really compelling colors and making something of my own to try and capture that (really wish i had kept the post i saw this photo from because I cant find the source now... if anyone has it please let me know asap so i can credit !)

though most of the unpainted art u see from me is just me eyeballing it and hoping it works.. i learned color theory by just seeing what works and emulating colors from art i admired!

i just want to say tysm for the gyu art 🫶 that boy legit changed my life ive never not been obsessed with him. and your art DOES HIM JUSTICE i'm always so happy to see it i love it so much

hi... do you plan on/have you played the new paranormasight? just curious... i liked it a lot but I'd love to know what you think!!

late to answering but i started playing it !! to be quite honest i did play it on release day but. spent like 4 hours maxing out the diving minigame then life got super busy for me _(:'3」∠)_

got so conceptually distracted by the idea of gyu being akane i kinda forgot to draw anything else for this im so sorry

Hey! I’m a HUGE fan of your visual novel fanart (especially zero escape/AITSF) and was excited to see your Paranormasight art too!!! Just curious since you’re clearly super into VNs, have you ever heard of/played the Death Mark/Spirit Hunter series? Paranormasight has similar vibes to it (mostly thematically/aesthetically since they’re both about curses and ghosts) so you may enjoy it.

I actually had started deathmark a few years back but got distracted by some other games after the first scenario(?) .. I do eventually want to get back into it! The atmosphere/horror was very interesting
