Cecil: Happy Fourth of July, listeners. As we all enjoy our barbecues, and fireworks, and traditional soft meat crowns, we remember that America was founded on a revolution. And, I mean, sure, we still are ruled by the Reptilians, but…the Lizard Kings let us have our own country after they saw how hard we tried during that revolution thing!

Night Vale is located at a valuable juncture between realities. Currently, the Lizard Kings have control over the portals, but there was a bid for power recently by a certain Smiling God. This intersection between worlds provides access to raw materials from many planes of reality, and is a great beachhead for launching trans-universal attacks.

Despite the rumors, Disco is not dead. Disco is merely hiding, gaining strength, waiting for the right moment to strike.

When the time comes, Night Vale will face the deadliest case of Disco Fever ever since the Lizard Kings released it into the wild.

La Ventanilla, Oaxaca Mas iguanas! Love these little scamps... Now in Tabasco. Hot as stink. Saw Palenque this morning and the place was empty. Magical. Hiring a car in a few days to visit some more jungle palaces. Three weeks left in Mexico, then on to Cuba. All is good x
