Update number 2 So On April 9th I was informed that My job of 5 years will be closing at the end of may. And I have a little Under 2 months to find a way to make up for the Loss of Income.
ON top of that DUE to the closure, My next few paychecks will be inconsistent. Which is only going to Stretch my finances even more than they already are, and add MORE stress with an emotionally and mentally overwhelming situation.
I am beyond heartbroken. I have been with this place for 5 years, My BOSS mentored me and hand trained me. I was READY to give this place another 5 years. So this sudden change has left me in a bit of a bind. As I have to find a way to make up for the inconsistent Paychecks, and ALSO figure out how to prepare for a sudden drop in income.
I am not normally the type to ask for money, but in this situation I am stuck bracing for impact, while also stuck making a bunch of decisions I wasn't planning on making in a short amount of time.
so in Anticipation for these changes, I have opened a tip jar up. If you can donate I will appreciate it greatly, and if you can't. I will Understand.
But please do NOT donate if you are also struggling financially. The Second I get back on my feet I will start sending people who have donated money back to people.
Link to Tip Jar can be found here.
What am I doing Currently?
I am currently working with a career advisor and advice from my boss and co-workers who've been in my field much longer than I have. I am planning to remain with my work place until the very last day, and that gives me under 2 months to form a plan.
I do Have a small outline of what my next steps are going to be, but these next 2 months will be rocky, and the path I'm leaning towards is going to come with extra expenses I was not anticipating.
As of this moment I am getting professional guidance to help navigate this unexpected change.
- I will update this post and Reblog as things change.
