Like, I feel like the femme label really fits me, but at the same time I feel like if I try and call myself that People Will Yell At Me. So I'm in this weird zone of wanting to use a label but feeling bad for doing so.

I still feel like I cant call myself a lesbian either, which probably isnt helping.

By all logic I'm fine, I'm a girl, and I like girls, but theres a small but loud voice in my head that tells me I'm bad for saying these things and it's just :/

Can someone explain to me why, when Donald’s supporters go on about how part of the reason they are voting for him is because he’s a businessman, that his opponents don’t bring up the fact that he’s hardly a good businessman! He’s been bankrupt six times! How on earth can people have confidence in a supposed businessman, who has been bankrupt not once, but multiple times?!? It’s completely illogical. He inherited a country that was already recovering from the GFC because of the measures President Obama put in place. The sheer fact that the economy has tanked (as you would expect!) in the face of covid, indicates that he doesn’t have some special ‘businessman’ power to make the economy better, it’s circumstance.

So does anyone else ship Lapidot, but not really care if they fuse?

Especially since the Crewniverse has suggested Peri is the gem equivalent of Ace, and Lapis has a lot of trauma surrounding fusion, I'd love for their relationship to represent that you can have a loving partnership without having to fuse. Although fusion represents all different types of strong relationships, it sometimes is coded as romantic/sexual. Just as fusion doesn't have to be the ultimate sign of a bond between gems, sexual intimacy is not a requirement in a strong partnership.

It's not like I'm against a Lapidot fusion. If done right, I think it could show a lot of growth on both Lapis and Peri's part. It would also be cool to see how their fusion would look aesthetically. However, I'd love if the Crewniverse showcased their development in a way that didn't end with fusion.

Also, I am totally here for Lapis/Bismuth and Peri/Amethyst. Peri and Amethyst especially had sooo much cool potential a few seasons ago, and I wish there was time in the story to develop their dynamic more.

Basically, I just want more Lapis/Peri screentime. I know there's more of them in the comics, so I should really catch up on those.
