Anime Asks Because Why Not (x)
11.) anime you didn’t expect to like but did(since I already answered this I will pick a runner-up) Kuroko no Basuke. This was back when I didn’t realize the wonders of sports anime. The only sport I like in real life is swimming so I really thought I would get bored of this show, but the fact that we can actually hear what they are thinking while playing and the characters being interesting makes it a really solid show.
24.) popular character you hateWell there are quite a few of those. To be relevant to this blog, I will say that from the Yu-Gi-Oh! series I have never liked Anzu/Tea, Yuzu, and Kotori. I honestly do not think they are all that interesting and a lot of them have this similar personality where they are really kind and tend to be motherly to the protagonist in a sense but don’t really think for themselves. THIS IS NOT BECAUSE THEY ARE FEMALES THOUGH PLEASE DO NOT THINK THAT. I just think that they follow a lot of tropes and are too similar for me to be like “hey. that person is my love. no one else can ever match them because they are unique.” They add nothing to the story really and it’s really disheartening because a lot of them could have been or can be so much more if they got their own story arcs or had better writing.
