Just seen the Doc
He said that sometimes it's the barrier creams can actually be the cause. This is because many of the nappy's now days have "technology" that draws liquid away from the genitals and when you introduce the barrier cream it stops the nappy from soaking in the liquid, hence doing more damage than good. Anyway he's requested that we see if it gets any better with no barrier cream for a couple of days, but he's also given me Canesten (hydrocortisone/ clotrimazole) to apply once a day. I've never heard of any of the products you mentioned @dylanstattooedmumma & @lizzzyg. But thank you so much for your input. Very much appreciated. And @or-doesitexplode, I'd looked up a few things about yeast thinking it might have been that too, but the symptoms appeared quite different. But thank you too
