In this lesson we focussed on training to get the moves (which are not difficult!) as big and clear and powerful as possible (think military dance boot camp training!), training ourselves not to miss a single move, being very strict on our timing (since the timing is so clear with the music), experimenting with dynamics and levels and giving that full out drama and energyyyy. In the meantime, also having to think of our expressions and performance. Giving that special “something” that makes a dancer incredible to watch. It’s challenging to make something look effortless when it requires a lot of work but together we crushed iiit. So much learning and training! But so much fun.
