I know the comics been over for years now. But is there any reason why you didn't decide to name Team Azalea's parents? Was it to keep up the 'Saturday morning cartoon' the comic had? (Well that's at least the vibe it gave me.) Or did neither of you just come up with names for them?

It's mainly just cause when you're a kid, the adults in your life don't have names. Your parents are "Mom" and "Dad." Your friends'/peers' parents are: "Cindy's Mom," "Patrick's Dad," "Eli's Mother," etc. We wanted the comic to feel like childhood, so that's why none of the adults really have names!

18. Favorite episode of the anime

love live! sip ss2 - ep 9: omg this ep is the best??? i love how every girl’s emotion before the important performance is shown clearly. soft moments of the yazawa siblings and 3rd year make me go uwu. schoolmates unite to help the 2nd year arrive the stage on time?? such a powerful moment!! and how can we forget snow halation?? iconic. i get goosebumps everytime. this ep is full of feels hhh

for a fun & bright ep, i also enjoy watching ss2 ep 2! nico rin chasing after a bandage is what i live for. and the contrast between chill printemps & dramatic lily white??? i have the biggest smile watching this ep xD

love live! sunshine ss2 ep 6: this ep solidified chika as best girl for me. they finally go into depth on chika’s personality and prove that she’s not just the second honoka. also if you look closely in the end (before the performance) every girl was injured by the choreography - thats the real struggle of school idols. not just cute girls singing and dancing. i rlly admire how hard-working and devoted everyone is. kanan’s tears of joy and chika’s cartwheels? goosebumps. 

22. Fandom pet peeve

people who hate on a girl just for her flaws and not looking at the bright side??? i mean?? how is it even possible to hate any, i mean ANY of the love live girls??? sure they have flaws, but who is perfect anyways? everything has its upside and downside. deep-down, every girls still love and care for each other and thats what matters. having a least fav girl is definitely ok tho, but ‘hate’ is too much of a strong word. no love live girls deserve hate, i said what i said.

Love your comic! If it's not too much, I wanted to ask what your process for the story was? Did you come up with the whole storyline all at once, did you have an idea for themes you wanted to explore and based the comic off of that or did those themes sort of naturally appear?

Zero and I came up with the story together in a single evening, after deciding we wanted to collab on a comic together! We thought of some themes we wanted to explore first, then came up with some basic premises, and I had the idea about the story taking place in a single day. After that, we did some more planning, and I started writing the script. For the art, I do the sketches and paneling/speech bubbles, and Zero renders from there (lineart, colors, backgrounds, lighting/shading, etc).
