DRAGON IDK IF YOU SAW THIS CLIP ALREADY BUT SKIZZ REANIMATED HIMSELF IN THAT GHOST GAME STREAM YESTERDAY AND IM SCREAMING PHASMO AU WHEN IMPULSE WALKED IN
made me so excited I apologize for capslock but thats how I feel
Like
guardian angel Skizz
I did see that! I was so ridiculously excited too. There have been a couple moments I've seen in videos that I really want to collect. Especially when Skizz called himself a guardian angel in Simple Life. I squealed. I should learn how to do clips properly like that.

I still can't believe that happened. There's an alternate timeline of my story somewhere where they don't know Skizz can do that and Impulse gets the poop scared out of him by Skizz reanimating like that.
Now that Grian got his soul back Im wondering how hell react to his first ghost-induced death...
Remembering how he said "I dont want to die" in one of the earlier stories
I feel like I can say, obviously not well. I have a few stories in the works that explore that already. They go really into exploring how differently Grian interacts with both ghosts and his team now that he does have his soul back.
I'll tuck the rest below a cut cause it's spoilery for Tangled Haunt and a bit of Grian's story arc as a whole, just in case.
Especially once they know Grian really is an angel. I've decided since writing Tangled Haunt that Skizz figures out what Grian is a lot sooner than I had originally planned. So he's already been treating Grian like a young angel for a while before he gets his soul back.
Things do get a little more complicated once he does become a fully fledged angel again though because angel relationships can get a little complicated under high stress situations. Think like between Skizz and Scoot in Impulse isn't Invisible. So they'll have that new dynamic to explore on top of the fact that Grian is now able to die.
I've got a sequence of stories I'm working on exploring how Grian 'adjusts' (for lack of a better word) to death by ghosts. I just haven't been posting them yet partially because I've been fixated on this Impulse arc and the construction site. And partially because they drive the main plot of the story forward a lot more that where it is now so it feels weird to post them so far out of order.
By rough estimate, what I've posted so far might be like a third of the story I have mostly planned. So there's a lot left to go.
Also I know Grian did say 'I don't want to die-' as I remembered writing it but it took me like an hour to find where that like was. I thought I was imagining things or something. I found it though.
Also also the '-' at the end of that sentence, and any time I use it really, is extremely intentional.
In this case the word he couldn't get out was 'again'. The Tangled Haunt foreshadowing starts early.
There's a point in a Tangled Haunt with a '-' that hints at something about the end of it that I don't think anyone's picked up on yet. But I'll leave the hint at that.
On the day heaven tried to take my soul
You came down like in fairytales of old
I said, "Open your white wings for me"
And you said, "Close your eyes and just believe"
Except that "close your eyes and just believe" feels more like Skizz would be talking to himself there. And this part:
I'd fight angels and demons to find you, my dear
I hear heavenly sounds in my head when you're near
I'm alright now you're here
I learned in supernatural they use rocksalt in shotguns to shoot ghosts and I think giggs phasmo!Scar should be allowed to try that
He really should one day. I can probably make it happen in some of the post-Tangled Haunt stories eventually.
Unfortunately I gave that opportunity to Skizz in Tangled Haunt cause I could not resist the 'angel with a shot gun' thing. But the gun he had there was the one designed by Zed, this time with salt instead of saw dust thankfully for the sake of Tango's shirt.
So Scar's opportunity will have to come later. Unfortunately ghost hunting weapons tend to piss the ghosts off, which in not condusive to either investigating or surviving an as of yet unknown ghost. So it'll take some specific circumstances for that to be necessary and worth while for the team. But I can think of a few places where I can experiment with the idea. Cause you're very right. He deserves a gun.
Though funnily enough the idea for a salt rifle was in part inspired by Supernatural. I've never seenmore than one episode of the show and a bunch of clips, but during covid I somehow got hooked on Supernatural fanfics. I was a fan of the fandom for a while I suppose. It's been fun seeing your commentary on it as you go through the show now too. I still know so little about it but I find it entertaining none the less.
This also just has me thinking now about how Scar is the only one on GIGS (not GIGGS, Gem is ok too) without some sort of ghost related trauma. So he totally would be the one to step up with a gun and get all angry/stern with the ghosts for scaring his friends. Very much in a 'they asked for no pickles' kind of way...
Having a haunted diner place or restaurant would be fun imo, have you ever thought about something like that?
(We were out eating burgers and I thought about GIGS Phasmo AU again :D)
I have! I do have a couple none house haunts in the works already. But it’s definitly something I should play with more. I also have plans for the prison, asylum, and campsite maps so there will be some more variety eventually.
Like with everything in this story though. I just need to play with it all more.
(I hope you had delicious burgers in a place free of ghosts!)
