Finally there’s a villain in the #MCU that I can get behind. Thanos is an #EcoWarrior trying to solve the over population crisis. He is #righteous in every meaning of the word but has a Sullen #CowboyCharm. #JoshBrolin disappeared in the #CGI but in his performance, I saw glimpses of #LlewelynMoss (#NoCountryForOldMen) Thanos was a Lone Ranger deep in the Wild West of #Space trying to save the world with no gratitude from anyone. In his mind, he thought he was doing the right thing. There is so much to this character, especially all the stuff with #Gamora that made me wish for his own movie. 🎞🎥 I really enjoyed watching the separate subplots build to the ending. Each subplot had interesting layers and it was an easy way for us to see multiple characters without being #overwhelmed. My favorite combo was with #SpiderMan, #DoctorStrange and #IronMan. They all had great chemistry amongst each other and it allowed for a contagious #energy to emit itself from the movie. The #PeterDinklage cameo as the giant was PERFECT! Rocket wanting to buy Bucky’s arm was hilarious and I LOVED the ending. I just wish we would have spent more screen time in #Wakanda. The #fightscene at the end was a lot of fun but felt so fast. All the time we spent with #GuardiansOfTheGalaxy could have been replaced with more character interactions on Wakanda. I loved watching #Okie, #ScarletWitch, and #BlackWidow fight with each other. Why couldn’t we have had more of those interactions between the #women. I also hated how they used #Thor’s character. He was a plot device at best but was mainly used at the #comicrelief. Looks like #TaikaWaititi is the only director who knows how to best use his character... Alas, what I wanted from the movie may never have been possible. . . . Thanks @pfeifferartsupply for the glitter #watercolor paints! Made my #galaxy look mystical ! I WILL be buying more of those Dot Cards from you!!!
