They stayed silent.

"Hekate, Goddess of the threshold. Crossroads. The in-between." He stared at them thoughtfully for a moment. "You're a writer. A walker between worlds."

This they knew, all too well.

"You're the only one who CAN tell the story, can't you see? Why else would you be what you are, if not to bridge the gap?"

They looked back at him with tears in their eyes. "But what if-"

He interrupted harshly: "What if nothing. You know I'm right." There was kindness in his eyes.

They shook their head solemnly, determination in their eyes. "Okay. Okay, I'll do it."

Instagram school one oh one: tag the SHIT out of everything. Everything. That helps. Honestly the Instagram algorithm fucked everything up. It used to be very easy to gain followers and have people exposed to your content, but now it's definitely not. One of my favorite youtubers who started on IG said that she feels like it's gone from being one of the easier platforms to make yourself known on to one of the most difficult. Like if you don't already have a following, you're fucked basically.

oh shit the changes thing makes a lot of sense. when i just had the account and like 3 posts years ago i had ~100 and now that I post actively over the past yearish ive only gained a little over 100. I dont even wants to Make Myself Known so much as just want a slightly larger pool of validation lol!!!! I TRY to tag but 1) ii feel weird adding more than a few even though I dont judge people who do? but like if I use 20 tags and only get like 10 likes on something that just feels sad, so id rather use one or 2 and if there arent that many like then it doesnt feel AS sad (which, i know, logically, the more tags the more chances people will see and like. but rationality hasnt always been my strength) and 2) where are people learning about all these tags to use!!!!!!! I dont really go on the social part of ig just like peruse my dash and check notes, but still like i missed the memo detailing effective tags to use on selfies and food pics?????
