Picked up the vinyl re-release of Lloyd Cole’s “Antidepressant” a few months ago and finally got around to listening to it yesterday. It’s far better than I remembered it to be, but it sure plagiarizes some of his earlier albums. There’s a lot of “spot the riff” going on here.

The “Yet To Be Listened To” section—I have a rule with myself that a record doesn’t get put in its proper shelf space until at least Side One has been listened to (and a minimum of three sides if it’s a double LP). Some records are naturally going to take a while (there’s like 7 LPs in that Lloyd Cole box set) and others…well, I think the Stones’ “Emotional Rescue” has been there two years now. That’s probably a sign I should sell it.
