Writing Update 9/28
I LIVE!!
I have been writing, slowly. (I emphasize slowly.)
I have about 23k words written in the sequel to White Days, a fic which I have titled Low Lays the Devil.

It will not be done anytime soon, but I wanted everyone to know that I’m working on it. Here’s a snippet:
“If you harm her,” he said, taking comfort in the fact that his voice was steady, “there will be no hole on this earth dark or deep enough for you to hide from me.”
The Sinnerman just laughed again, and Lucifer’s vision went red. His imagination was only too ready to furnish him with a parade of images of Chloe being tortured in infinitely creative ways. Spots danced before his eyes.
He took a breath, and his brain re-engaged.
“If you have the Detective, prove it to me,” he said. Anything would be better than the scenarios he could conjure up if left unchecked. The Sinnerman laughed, louder this time. It grated on Lucifer’s raw nerves. “Why are you laughing?”
“It’s funny,” the Sinnerman replied, still giggling, “the way you think I’m playing by your rules.” Lucifer growled, but the Sinnerman continued, unaffected. “Call her, if you think it’s a bluff. I’ll even be kind enough to save you some time, since that’s something, I’ll remind you, you don’t have a lot of. Come to this address-” here he listed off a location that he recognized as being in an industrial park “-and come alone.”
Well, that went without saying. Lucifer hung up and immediately called Chloe’s number.
Pick up, pick up, pick up… He tapped urgently on the bar, nervous energy shivering through him. But both his calls bounced back. He didn’t even get voicemail, the way he would if she was busy with the case and not checking her phone. But she’d promised to stay in touch…
He couldn’t swallow. His throat was tight, his mind racing. How was this possible? He’d just seen Chloe, and she’d been surrounded by police. How had the Sinnerman managed…?
Lucifer shook himself. That wasn’t important right now. He thought of the address the Sinnerman had given him. The longer he waited, the more time slipped through his fingers, the more difficult he found it to breathe. Chloe did not call him back.
Snarling a venomous curse in a long-dead language, he made for his car. Either he would find Chloe, or the Sinnerman would learn what it meant to play by the Devil’s rules.
Tharja likes counting things and uses it as a self soothing mechanism.
Inspired by her apparent knowledge of things like how many books Robin has read and how many times they turn over in their sleep.

The Casper concert was absolutly awesome! Always a pleasure to hear his music live!

Chapter 3 of Long Live the Dead is out!!!
This one had soft Caleb and Willie as a father/son pairing, as well as cuddles, the beginning of the ghost hunter Carlos and Tía storyline, and Flynn helping advance the plot to what might be endgame...who knows (I do bc I’m writing it, but you don’t).
I’ll post the link in a reblog in just a sec, so go check it out!
Pretty please 🥺
Chapter 10 is finally up everyone! I hope you all enjoy!
Chapter Summary:
Julie sighed, pocketing her phone again and letting Flynn know that Nick was on his way with Carrie in tow. Flynn’s following freakout was expected, but no less shrill. Julie winced. “Tone it down. Nick tried to stop her but apparently she’s on a warpath.”
“When isn’t she,” Flynn muttered.
Story Summary:
They thought they had everything figured out. The boys had been freed from the curse, and they had finally gotten to play the Orpheum, without crossing over. They could keep performing, keep growing. Everything was going great, and it was only a matter of time before Caleb would be a distant memory from the past.
Boy, were they wrong.
Who knew demons existed. Demons. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. The more time Julie spends with the boys, and the more time the boys spend as ghosts, the less it seems like the special connection they share is just about the music. That there’s something much greater at stake.
