“The director is so bad” Let me stop you there for just a moment. The Lion King remake was a disgrace, true, but after that the same director actually went on to make a masterpiece; Prehistoric Planet, what is, in my opinion, the greatest dinosaur documentary so far in history.

I was gonna go on a tangent and say that whilst I respect your argument, a good movie/show does not always indicate a good director (see Les Miserables 2012) but I haven’t seen Prehistoric Planet so I can’t really say one way or the other anyway, but then I actually looked it up and found that Jon Favreau is credited as an executive producer on the series rather than a director as opposed to his directing role in Lion King 2019 and strangely, to me, maybe I’m just dumb but I can’t find? Any director credit for Prehistoric Planet??? Just a looot of producers, and one director of filmography.

So, just off the cuff I can’t tell how much involvement the man actually had, considering that an executive producer can be anywhere from writing the script to just owning the franchise.

In conclusion… we’ll call this one a draw.. for now >>
