You know what is still annoying with the show,how the show mentioned and critique wukong mistakes of tripping, and accidentally sending the samdhi fire into ao lie,he gets Consequences for it but macaque doesn't get call out,for Sparking the fire and causing Mei pain and trauma and threatening mk friends and family,it doesn't get brought up in s5,in the samdhi fire episode about macaque did,the trauma he cause her,nope nothing.
That is why I wasn't impressed with the samdhi fire episode in s5. It didn't explore much of Mei trauma surrounding it,she is still affected by macaque actions with the fire. Even after the episode when the samdhi fire was revealed,the show excused it,tang does the excuse for macaque actions too.
I wish they used the samdhi fire better when it comes to mei,nor did I care for the samdhi fire ball in s5. They should have used it better than putting into something cute,that something very dangerous.
