To be honest, Violence was not expecting this.
According to Makima, a Drugs Devil have been circulating around a small neighborhood in Kyoto, doping the humans with some sort of smoke and eating them whole. Nothing really that different from his usual work, the Fiend meets these kind of creatures on a daily basis. What was different about this mission is the fact that he got partnered up with Aki, and Aki alone. That was quite odd, especially since the human have never been one for a partner, much less a fiend like the masked one.
Aki and Violence rarely spoke outside of work, they were acquaintances at best, not because the fiend hated him, not at all. But because the other seemed to enjoy his privacy and alone time, and the fiend wouldn’t be the one to disrupt that. But alas, for some reason, Makima has decided that him and the sullen human would be the perfect duo for this job.
They were walking beside one another, getting closer to the early mentioned neighborhood. There was a rather awkward silence between them, mostly because it felt like Aki didn’t seem to want to engage with the other. Violence wondered if he was mad at something or just focused on the task at hand.
“ So, how do you think we should approach this? ” Violence inquired, breaking the uncomfortable silence. “ I’m probably more resistant to the drug devil’s power, so I could like, distract the him, then you come out the back and CHOMP. ” Violence mimics the hand movement that Aki does whenever he summons the fox devil. “ What do you think? “
