Quite the vague thing for Emilia’s Future Trial here.

Curiously, despite Emilia’s hatred of this person she’s talking to (perhaps Pandora?) Emilia is shedding a tear when expressing the notion they should’ve never met. What makes this line extra weird is this line of lead up into such a statement.

“I’ve thought this many times, and I’ve denied it many times… but the nightmare has truly come, so I will say it.”

This implies Emilia about whomever she “hated most in that world” was in denial about having not regretted meeting them up until this moment.

If it were someone like Pandora, surely Emilia would have unequivocally negative feelings towards them and not be in denial about having regretted meeting them? She even sheds a tear at her own words of musing they should’ve never met, which I don’t think fits how Emilia would react to Pandora.

Before I get into trying to guess who the heck Emilia is talking to, I’d like to discuss the scenery itself. For starters, everything looks like it got wasted which ain’t a great scene buuuut. That’s not the extremely concerning bit.

The scenery of destruction is described to be “bathed directly in the scarlet sunlight” - and scarlet sunlight was a backdrop to Volcanica’s entrance in Battle Ballad. Perhaps it’s a coincidence and it’s maybe representative of Priscilla in this instance or something, but I am doubtful. Maybe Volcanica destroys the location of wherever this is.

Anyways. Unto guessing who Emilia is speaking to and…

I think it might actually be Subaru.

Now, that sounds bizarre at first, I’m aware. Afterall, why would Emilia say she’d hated Subaru from the moment she 1st met him & that she couldn’t stand the sight of him?

However, Emilia has had a trend of saying things she doesn’t really mean to Subaru in an effort to push him away. Would such harsh language not fit such a trend for her? Especially if Emilia wants to push him away from her once she’s learned of RBD?

Subaru being the one Emilia is speaking to here aswell would help make the denial portions I pointed out make much more sense + Emilia’s last line of lamenting they never should’ve met makes muuuuuch more sense if you think Emilia is rueing all the suffering Subaru has gone through because of her, which is physically manifested in that tear we see her have when she says such a thing.

The anime continues to make everyone wanna kiss Kirito which like mood but…yikes ya’ll. I told myself to give anime Alice a chance because I don’t like how she was written in the novels later, but they went and did this to us. 

First you ruined Sinon, anime, now you ruin Alice. Relationship ended with A-1, fanfiction is my friend now-
