Started thinking about Etho and Bdubs' syndicate names and Bdubs is definitely either Hypnos or Morpheus (maybe Chronos? Idk time gods are confusing to me and idk if Chronos would be the best fit)
Etho seems easy (Ethos haha) but he is too easy, anyone outside the syndicate could recognize him by that. Sure we could go with eitger Pathos or Logos but that still seems a bit too easy. Fun suggestion is for his name to be Haphaestus cause he is the god of technology and since Haphaestus is one of the Big Twelve my spoiler lore for Etho would work here too
#viv talks#lo3 rambling#originally I had plans for Bdubs to be Morpheus cause in lo3 he also does have prophetic dream visions#and there's also dream symbolism with him#BUT#Hypnos works also because#because of the fact that I want the sleep-skip thing to actually be an important plot poiny#BUT ALSO#Chronos is honestly an S-tier choice for a bdubs syndicate name#he calls himself the king of time#now#I know there are other time gods#but Chronos (god of linear time) seems the most fitting for Bdubs#Idk much about the other time gods#and for Etho#I kinda wanted him to be Logos yes#but honestly I considered that as low-hanging fruit#so he's Haphaestus now#IT DOES MAKE SENSE WITH THE LORE I GOT FOR HIM#...#as you can see I think about this a lot#I wanna talk about what greek gods I would assign to th other hermits tbh
