Here's my two cents on the doomposting, about Mack's birthday. Since it was also the anniversary of the legendary SJS vs. PIT game, let's also talk about the impact it had on Will and Mack. In the post-game interview, Mack visibly looked upset and looked genuinely out of it, to the point where his voice was breaking. If that isn't enough for people, there's also that moment when Will completely forgot about Graff's effort on a play and accidentally said, "Mack made a play down to Mack," showing people that they're subconsciously thinking of one another 24/7. and these moments alone should be enough to show people that their bond goes far beyond whatever superficial pictures or videos people seem to need as proof to believe that Will cares about Mack or vice-versa.

He absolutely doesn't need to fly out to Vancouver, when *Will Smith Planner* himself has already disclosed a rough outline of their summer plans, both are very busy individuals, they are together roughly seven months of the twelve months that are in a year, and through multiple people close to them we have learn't that they are basically inseparable and don't leave eachothers side for hours *nod to colleen saying she doesn't understand how they don't get tired of eachother*.

I also don't understand the huge emphasis some people put on birthdays, sure, they're fun to celebrate, but as you get older, other commitments often take priority. I'm still in my teens and I haven't properly spent my birthday for the last four or five years. Life happens.

So I genuinely don't see why Will would need to fly out solely for Mack's birthday when there's already talk of him visiting Vancouver later in the summer. It's a sweet idea, but realistically it doesn't make much sense. Not everything has to be a grand gesture.

More importantly, they're their own people. They don't need to spend every second together to prove anything–whether that's as just colleagues, as friends, as whatever they consider themselves to be for eachother. They already spend most of the year attached at the hip, while also being away from their families and longtime friends for months at a time. Honestly, the healthiest thing is probably for them to enjoy their time apart, reconnect with the people they don't get to see during the season, and then reunite later. Missing someone isn't a sign of distance sometimes it's what makes seeing them again so special.
