I always like to stay positive , and don't get me wrong I love small bore fun bikes (I know the importance in the world market place blah blah blah) .... but I remain perplexed .... A lot of the people whom I RESPECT and in my opinion helped build the Cafe/Alt Custom scene based on a badass outlaw rocker culture (or our version of it) seemed impressed and excited about a 650 twin with 47hp (minus driveline loss what's that at the rear wheel) ???? After 10 years of teaser g out a 750??? I was disappointed ... From a company that arguably is the most profitable in the world?? Marketing dollars at work?? I didn't get my check for promotions?? Or is this Motorcycle Kool-aid for the mass exodus of fashionistas from "fixie Biycycles" and skinny jeans??? I believe The thrill of a overweight, underpowered 650 twin in our current market may just be the rush you get when you realize you can't pass a tractor trailer on the interstate.... I forgot it's just for great parking inside the beltway and photo shoots.... That's cute ...... .......... .......... ... ...... ........ but I have good news !!!!!! (PICTURED ABOVE).
