SEED OF LIGHT THEMES FOR KIMCOM MEMBERS.
With my most recent Project Moon hyperfixation, and a recent return of the ORV brainrot, I thought of how KimCom would fit the Seed of Light germination procedure from Lob Corp, and why. (Spoilers for Lob Corp and ORV of course).
The Will to Stand up Straight - Lee Gilyoung The Rationality to Maintain Discretion - Lee Seolhwa The Fearlessness to keep on Living - Lee Jihye The Hope to be a Better Person - Shin Yoosung
The Expectation for the Meaning of Existence - Yoo Sangah Those who are Faithful and Trustworthy - Gong Pildu The Courage to Protect - Lee Hyunsung
The Eye Facing the Fear; Breaking the Cycle - Jung Heewon The Eye Embracing the Past; Building the Future - Yoo Joonghyuk
The Knowing I - Han Sooyoung Let's start with explanations. (Simple, so the word count doesn't stop me)
LGY - A scared little boy who slowly gets more confident as the story progresses. He often feels worthless and like he's no help at all compared to everyone else. Tries way too hard, so he's noticed and appreciated by those he values. Almost fits Malkuth's themes to a T. LSW - This one's a bit of a stretch, but she's the one who stays back and unnoticed most of the time. While that is a bit because of writing sidelining her, it's also the fact that as a doctor, she actually focuses on helping ordinary people, and not jumping into any reckless plans and not trying to gather attention or be more liked. She knows what her (often thankless) job is, and is determined to do it. (Also fits a bit with Yesod's germaphobia and his Viper with her Poisoner) LJH - Her early appearances have her struggling to go on because of having to kill her best friend in the first scenario. Not only that, but her first major contribution is on a mission where she's afraid of water and has to overcome her fear to start on her journey of Naval Mastery. She's often the life and soul of KimCom as well, trying to keep everyone's spirits up and cheerful. (The easygoing nature and drive to live despite having no major reason besides just life in the current story, is similar to Netzach) SSY - The person destined to become a disaster. Hating herself and seeing herself as evil because of having to kill a dog in the first scenario. While she has other major themes, her first one is wanting to be a better person, including even towards her disaster self. (Similar to Hod in self destructive behavior and overcompensating to become better). YSA - I initially picked her for Hod's line (it fits as well), but her connection to reincarnation themes and a bit of a pseudo-protagonist made me think this fits her. Her own existence as someone Dokja brought into the novel's world and slowly progressing alongside his own understanding of self (as well as Librarian and Sakyamuni's succesor) and deep thinking of meaning and being viewed by others fits the theme. (Tipheret B as her former self, living for others, and Tipheret A, her new self after letting go and starting her new life). GPD - Journey from enemy to a bastion of safety. (Also a bit sidelined, but it fits Chesed's own weaker self, who found it in himself to stand his ground. Knowing loss, and resolving to do better). LHS - I debated this, because Heewon fits Gebura so much, but the courage to protect fits Hyunsung more as the shield of the group. That and his arc being about having the courage to step outside of his mindset to focus on what's important and how to protect it. JHW - The one always facing the enemy, having to rely on the higher power to activate her Judgement (Arbiter), breaking free of that control, to take action on her own thanks to KimCom. It fits both the line, and Binah herself. YJH - Come on. Regressing to the past, to keep building his strength and readiness to reach the future he envisions. The time motif. The absolute faith in his companion (a bit later on for YJH than for Hokma). Barely any explanation required. HSY - The manager. Writer of the scenario. Different selves. Director of the False Last Act. As if there is anything more fitting for Ayin. Committing even the wrong and evil for the sake of one person dear to you. That's weird. I didn't put Kim Dokja anywhere.
Kim Dokja is both Carmen and Angela. The Demon King of Salvation. (Salvation of humanity, helping and distorting them for their happiness) The Reader. (Angela's EGO is The Library for god's sake T_T) The reason and source of everything. [Your ■■ is 'Eternity'.] - Eternal suffering of Angela in her role as observer and assistant making sure everything progresses smoothly, but never for her own desires. Eternal fate of Carmen as the force of Distortion (literally observing and putting importance on people's individual stories and emotions) Makes me wanna look into more fun scenarios for crossovers and ideas. I know there's more members of KimCom, but they're mostly affiliated with other groups more, and while I love them, these I consider the core.
