Farmers Markets
Shouldn't farmer's markets be more common?
Why do we allow concrete food deserts
Where one day a week we get to talk to our neighbors who grow sustainable local food?
Sit with that for a second.
I don't know what the rest of this shit is. The windowless food centers. That exist only in rich white neighborhoods. Guarded by men with guns.
Sit with that. It is evil.
So as we begin building the post capitalist world that is failing around us. Lets center each other. Ask what you can do. It doesn't have to be big.
Can you grow anything? Then do it. And make enough to share.
Is there a farmers market near you? Use it.
Is there someone with a local coffee stand? Use it.
Look them in the eyes and smile when you exchange goods and services. This is the old way. This is how it should be.
Fuck corporations that lock food in windowless compounds while our neighbors starve.
