oiuuugggh honestly im not sure? im in the process of writing several fics at the moment and i dont want to add more just yet BUT im not saying I'll never write a fic for it. i think itd be a lot of fun :) as for the comic thing, ?? likely no. maybe a short mini series of comics, but not a full one. i am so bad at making comics. expect art dumps tho

i think about how i lived with like 20-30 young queer people for a week straight (i am a young queer) and our conversations consistently used words and jokes we all deemed goofy

yippee was a HUGE thing there. one person would say YIPPEEE and everyone would erupt in yippees the counselors were so confused
fire lake was also a really funny joke. people were told they could get kicked out of camp and it ended up turning into two campers saying being kicked out means youd be sent to fire lake. same with strikes n stuff. people got strikes for the stupidest things so we kept saying that as a joke (along with a finger waggle)
someone: (penis joke)
another person: THATS IT STRIKE THREE YOURE GOING TO FIRE LAKE
or someone would genuinely get in trouble (the director would ask to speak with them privately) and theyd just go "abt to be sent to fire lake guys"
we also convinced some of the counselors to tell us bedtime stories which usually had nice morals and stuff and then WE'D tell a story and its literally twilight or the outsiders but with animals. i told one about a very stupid idiot guy being hit by a train
i did this last year too but i think in terms of experience with campers, this year was better. the organization and format of the week sucked this year, but the campers and the other counselors (not the damn director we all did not like them) really made it better everyone was so silly

made a new au for amphibia :) its called anne in the moon (a play on man in the moon) but I'll probably call it atm for short.
the au includes major spoilers for the hardest thing so please only read if you have finished amphibia :)

instead of anne being resurrected after sacrificing herself, god decides to make her into the new moon. amphibia would not be able to function properly without a moon so this is a great opportunity!! anne would be able to watch over amphibia :) trust them anne you'll love it!!
anne is hesitant obviously. like, who wouldn't be?? but god has not given her the option of being resurrected, so she agrees.
they create a new moon using remnants of the previous one, however instead of being a shade of red, the moon becomes a blinding white.
the formation of the new moon is incredible. after anne's dust blows away, the area where the moon once was starts to glow. it gets brighter and brighter, and the ground shakes and forces the group of amphibians and humans onto their knees. sasha and marcy hold onto one another as their vision goes white. all they can hear is a violent rumbling coming from above them.
then everything stops.
their vision clears slowly and in the sky, they see the new moon. it's similar to earth's in color, but it's much brighter. craters on its surface form a vaguely humanoid shape. three craters are separate from this shape, though still implying a connection. each crater glows slightly with the colors of the gems. pink, green, and blue.
blue. why does that hurt so much? seeing blue together with pink and green as if nothing had just ripped them apart.
the group stares in shock. no one speaks.
sprig tightens his grip on hop pop and polly, staring in awe at the shining moon in the night sky.
this was going to be a lot to get used to.

something is so familiar about that moon. it reminds sprig of anne, in some ways. the almost poofy clumps are so similar to her hair. it was quite funny, actually, as hop pop had said that it reminded him of a dandelion.
the three glowing craters are what gets to him, though. are the gems actually inside of the moon? how did they even get there? is that connected to anne in any way?
it hurts to think of anne whenever he sees the moon, but he can't help it. every night he stares at it. he examines each hole, memorizing each visible groove and bump.
that's why it messed with him so much when the craters disappeared.
it was the first full moon since everything happened. it'd been a month. how had it been a month already?
he looked up into the sky that night, expecting to see the moon he always saw, but it was blank. only a few craters remained, but the large clump was gone.
so were the glowing craters.
he rushed downstairs, not bothering to keep quiet, and burst out the door. speeding down the dirt path he ran down to the lake nearby.
the lake.
that was where he and anne had gone so soon after meeting. that was where they had swum together. that was where they had almost been killed by a giant snake.
frog, he missed her.
he slowed down a bit. panting, he stopped and leaned on a nearby tree for support. glancing up quickly he realized he had arrived.
he stared in awe at the shimmering water of the lake, the moonlight bouncing off of its surface. farther down into the lake, the reflections merged into one bright, shining form. that's strange, he thought. he hadn't seen this happen before.
blinking his eyes quickly to adjust to the new light, he examined the blob. it was familiar, why was it so familiar? it's just a glob of light, there's no reason for him to recognize it.
above the lake the moon shone, its blank face shining down onto the lake. the jumbled light wavered with the water.
it moved.
not in a way light should move. almost like a living being. he watched silently as it- they? -grew taller. it stood up, its gangly limbs trembling slightly. cracks stretched along the figure's limbs, all the way up to their-
their hair.
her hair.
the figure turned around.
"anne..?"

every full moon her light reflects onto the waters of amphibia :) she is technically everywhere, but her "body" can appear only in one place.
she appeared in the lake because of its importance to her. that was one of the first places they'd gone together.
originally she was supposed to appear where she died but then i realized that was too annoying to do fhjdbgsg
anywho anne and sprig get very excited!! wow!! together again!! but they only get to see one another on the full moons.
the next month sprig brings sasha, marcy, polly, and hop pop. everyone else gets to see her too dw
yes yes I am aware that sasha and marcy are like not ok rn. sasha has a huge gash on her back and marcy just. yeah that happened. BUT ALSO ANNE. CAN WE HAVE SOME ANNE ALL IN FICS
