SUNDAY 2 JULY 2017

Rachel went swimming.  I didn’t feel very well and although always love swimming, as you may have gathered from this diary, but today I rested at home.  In the afternoon we did go to the Good Health Fest in the park across the harbour. Met the Pearly King and sang “This Old Man Said Follow the Band” with him.  He was surprised that I knew the words and I was proud to tell  him that is a sign of age and of a  misspent youth (Theological College!!) and we made a contribution to their ongoing charitable work.  It turned out that I am older than him by some years!   So I have decided I want a pearly suit but nobody seemed to take any notice.  I shall start by looking on line.  We purchased some beautiful brooches made by Samia Ahmed [ ArtisamStudio ], including a Dinosaur, an Elephant, a Crab a Unicorn and  Monkey broaches.  Continued tomorrow.
