I recently received news that our veterans at the Women’s Trauma Unit need our help. They are looking for care packages with donations of personal hygiene products, non-perishable foods (k-cups, bottled water, sports drinks, granola bars, other snacks) athletic shoes, gift cards to stores close to them (to Stop and Shop, Shop Rite, TJ Max, Target), letters of encouragement, cards, books, puzzle books, etc. Amazon offers pre-assembled women’s care packages that you can purchase and ship directly there too. Please do not send drugs, alcohol, weapons, medications, hand sanitizers or inappropriate/contraband items.
