Woven wallhanging now available @kunstuitleen, seen alongside mixed media work on canvas inspired by Vlietland (Herenstraat 92, Voorburg, throughout May Tues-Sat 10.00-17.00; https://www.sbkvoorburg.nl). . In een grijs verleden studeerde ze scheikunde in Engeland, maar nu is ze al jaren fulltime kunstenaar. Veronica Pock maakt weefsels voor aan de wand, sjaals en kussens. Toch zijn tekenen en schilderen steeds de basis van haar werk. Ze gaat eerst met gemengde technieken op het platte vlak experimenten. Dat werk afwisselend abstract en figuratief. De textuur van het oppervlak en de kleur worden de basis voor de sfeer die ze met haar weefsels wil creëren. Voor haar meest recente werk was Vlietland een grote inspiratiebron.
