Repost: @sheyleigh Sunday was long and slow. Yesterday was short and fast. Today I’m awake early going stir crazy from windy and wet weather. I guess it’s obvious to say each time you get on the bike the results can vary. That can be part of the allure and excitement of it all. Reco’s or efforts, it’s all better than nothing. My favourite kind of posts I see on the ‘gram isn’t about being perfect, it’s about being happy with giving it a shot. It’s about being human and vulnerable but wrapped with what can be achieved then and there. Of course, I’m over the moon when a mate smashes it out of the park especially when they’ve done the hard yards to get there but it’s 100% still heaps impressive getting out there to enjoy your ability. Not everyone is graced with good health and the gift so many of us forget to pay homage to - the simple fact we are able. Don’t get too consumed by numbers, sometimes it can take away from a truly good experience. To be disappointed with anytime you got out there is a slap in the face to those who can’t. Enjoy every pedal stroke and every second physically out there. It’s sheer bliss we get to ride and embrace this passion.
