Telegraph Reflection:

Throughout this project, I have found the idea of the telegraph house style rather appealing. And so I decided to go with a Sweet Tea food theme for my work.

I feel that the final outcome for this project works well, flows nicely and fits into the telegraph house style from the research that I have done. I have tried to make my photos realist, not so geometrical and slightly messy to give a relaxed yet professional approach to the aesthetics.

Despite a few hiccups during the product and a lack of communication between myself and a cake making company which I had original planned to purchase cakes from. I managed to move on from this and purchased cakes which looked appealing and worked well for my shoot.

My shoot went well despite a delay when shooting due to picking up the lighting equipment and there being problems at CLR which held me up. My assistant lucy worked efficiently and had the lights set up in no time so that I was ready to style my shoot and starting taking images.

I am happy with my final outcome, however i feel it could look better with more colour and better looking cakes. But I do feel the images that I am handing in are professional, fit to the house style, work well to fulfil the brief and for this I am happy.

I feel that I have fulfilled the brief well and that my images would not look out of place in the Saturday Telegraph Magazine.
