Lock snapping is a method of entry employed to enter a property where a euro cylinder or alike has been installed, nearly all upvc double glazed doors , aluminium doors and composite doors are fitted with this type of cylinder. Although the doors and locking mechanisms themselves offer a high level of security they are all compromised if the cylinder that operates the lock can be snapped, this leaves the lock mechanism exposed, which can then be easily manipulated and opened very quickly.
