The Magician Cover
Here’s a big collab! The first big Yeti’s Breakfast project.
Yeti’s Breakfast is a songwriting duo I’m a part of with fellow musician Jeremy Burne, but this project was a cover of the song ‘The Magician’ by an artist Jeremy and I both love, called Andy Shauf.
As we were in lockdown when completing this, we weren’t able to work together in person, so this project took multiple zoom calls, file sharing and more. I think both myself and jeremy must’ve had at least 10 different logic projects for this cover, as we really wanted to do the song justice.
We both had a lot of fun recording lots of instruments for this track. The credits are as follows:
Rob: Vocals, Backing Vocals, Drums, Cello, Trumpet, Electric Guitar, Mixing Editing.
Jeremy: Acoustic Guitar, Keyboards, Ukulele Bass, Alto Saxophone, Clarinet, Flute, Violin, Mixing.
