#lockdownlostandfound latest find. This was me and our little crew’s guide to the new adrenaline buster we got into back in 77. We were really lucky in #halifax as some smart guy opened an indoor skate park in a disused mill. It was genius. This little book was our only guide to seeing how it was done in the states, in a very safe way, haha. After making our own boards for a while we eventually got a few good shops selling imported kit. More cassette tape fun for the Lockdown Lost and Found series. #lockdownlostandfound The NME cover mounted cassette was iconic amongst music lovers in the 80’s It provided us with musical collections selected by industry insiders. It was free when you bought the NME which was still a newspaper back then, these tapes were simply cellotaped to the front page. Pogo a Go Go probably represented the very best of the series as it was a collaborative effort from the musicians to the compilers to the design. Compiled by Roy Carr, Paolo Hewitt, Danny Kelly, Gavin Martin, David Swift, Adrian Thrills and David Quantic all the tracks were either demo’s or previously unreleased. For track listing scroll left. Next in the Lockdown Lost and Found. This beauty from 1987 once again special packaging which will be recurring feature from me. Yes this a double cassette pack. Unfortunately I lost the booklet that came with this. But it may turn up. So I bought this from Woolworths which was always a good music trawl on Saturday they had good buyers but their customer mainly went for chart tunes so the good stuff was there for the picking.
