I have to admit that nearly a decade of Harper and his Conservatives has made me more of a sovereigntist than I expected to be (but considering my entire family is already pretty political, it probably wasn’t a surprise)

but then again years of terrible governements in Quebec also made me think we’d crash and burn the minute we’d try to do anything

especially with people so univolved in politics

Im so sorry to hear about the lack of interest there in quebec :// it’s really a shame bc more people should know what’s going on with the feds bc it does concern them

yaeh :( I mean, of course sovereignty is still a major part of poltics here, but it’s. not an excuse to neglect federal politics. really, it makes it even more important to get a federal governement that puts the entire country on the right path and supports us if we want sovereignty to ever happen? but I swear some people vote for a crappy governement in Ottawa just to have an excuse to say the federal governement doesn’t represent us and fuel they popular opinion towards sovereignty.
