i honestly don't really understand why "some people prefer watching gameplay online rather than playing games themselves" is treated as such a taboo when being a spectator is considered a pretty mundane way to engage with most sports, game shows, reality tv or even just like. chess.
“Do it scared” “do it alone” are all great tips, but my biggest takeaway from therapy is do it messy. This is especially true if you’re getting out of a burnout, which I experience often. Literally just do it messy. You don’t need to pick the perfect trail to walk, the perfect playlist to listen to, whatever the fuck it is. You don’t need to have a meticulous to do list and wake up at the exact time you planned and drink the exact amount of water you planned to drink. Like the biggest thing for people like me to remember is sometimes it’s okay to do it messy. Put on a random yt workout and just get it done in sweats. Do 5 minutes of a daunting task and go from there. Sometimes just getting up is a win during intense burnouts or depressive funks. Literally just do it messy.
In the name of disability pride month start giving a shit about psychotic people NOW
im sorry but you Have to put in effort for your friends. i know we're all damaged trans women who are used to "if i ask for help i will not get it; if i take up space i will be discarded." but we CANNOT treat eachother like that! you deserve more than "oh teehee you can reach out to me 2 years later and ill still consider us friends dont worry!" you deserve standards holy shit
like i understand depressive episodes, i understand having difficulty reaching out, i understand having months where you're just not able to hold conversation, but you realise that's all of us, right? you realise that we all need each other, right? im not saying abandon and cut off anyone who fails to respond within the hour, but you're allowed to say "hey yeah that kinda hurt, please don't build up some expectation that i'm going to hate you for not responding to the point where you leave me isolated too."
this is one of those things you especially need to take into account for when it comes to disability & geography too. some people can’t just take public transport to meet you at the local cheesemonger. people are in places where if you don’t have a car, you die & are stuck in living situations where they go for months to years without access to human contact. it’s a glacial amount of time, it completely deprives you of all your senses to the point of suicidal ideation as without connection to others you lose all connection to yourself. if you’re already socially deprived from mental illness then your rural friends are experiencing it fivefold & your homebound friends tenfold. make the effort for once & go visit your friends.
Does anyone know what to do about the temperature and also the prices
some people are afraid to be cheesy. I live my whole life on the charcuterie board
you betrayed everyhting you stand for and all you got in return was a kickass sword and ability to start fires with your mind and d cups. pretty good deal !

a book should be $5 a little drink should be $2 and museum access should be free and all hours
i wish mosquitos didn't make you itchy and give you horribly infectious diseases. i wouldn't begrudge them a humble nibble were it not so
