Fungi and lichen at Lockhart State Park, Lockhart, TX, Feb 4, 2017. The park is fairly quiet (not many arthropods to poke) but the lichens were fantastic. This park is also the nesting site for a large group of black vultures–saw at least 40 of them in the park. Some day I will get a better camera so I can get decent bird photos.
