Microsoft recently acquired Double Labs to help improve the app lock screen mobile devices in the future.
Microsoft has officially acquired Double Labs, a developer known for Echo Notification Lockscreen app on Android devices (reached 5 million downloads on Google Play). This application will allow users to personalize what appears on your phone or tablet screen is locked.
Last year, Microsoft Research division Garage has released Microsoft Next lockscreen app, which promises to give you full information and control everything at a glance without having to unlock the phone. This may sound strange when Microsoft went release lock screen app for Google’s Android.
The issue of application default lock screen on mobile devices from Apple, Android and even Windows Phone that is: it is mostly just a list of notifications, but less impact you directly to apps without unlocking the screen.
