broke: I started shipping Blackarachnia and Lockdown because they’re both evil goths.

woke: I started shipping Blackarachnia and Lockdown because they would most likely get along. They’re both very grey-area characters, they have a similar dark and sarcastic sense of humor, and neither of them are too invested in the Decepticon cause. They seem like characters who would respect each others privacy, and I could easily imagine them working together - LD helping BA with her research and BA lending a helping hand with whatever bounty hunter business LD has going down. I also think that LD doesn’t really care about BA being a techno-organic (not in a “idgaf” way but more of a “I hope you know that you’re fine just the way you are, but I understand that I’ll never understand what it is to be in your shoes, and if there’s anything I can do for you, let me know” way), and while it never goes to the “man fixes woman” trope, BA really appreciates LD for seeing her as an equal instead of a freak.
