Dull nights and sullied temperaments such as these were intermittent moments when Narsus would seek to ease his temper through sauntering by sea. The drivel of myopic court officers and self-conceited kings had not been a pleasant ditty in the mind ---their arguments and strive for faux bounty, acquisitive-esque upshots laid bare for all to see, yet declining so when expose in the face, was infuriating a thousand times more.
Seated by the rocky cavums paddled by waves that were freshly awash in every night and day when the tide rises, violet hues espied a moving silhouette benighted by shadows. Flipping and turning, as if a fish out of water, or a mahimahi deposited by shore. He stood, brushes his robe before leather boots would guide his person to the venue ... only to behold a creature of half man, half fish.
But Narsus was always skilled in wearing his calm and composed front well. “No need to announce yourself here, you rowdy bastard.” For the beaches entice no visitor during this hour of the night --- ghostly and soulless --- like lands befitting a tomb. “Though -- you seem like you need help.”

“My, you look like you’re ready for a good time. You must be... ah, here you are! Eustass Kidd. No, wait. Pardon me, Captain.” The book in her arms was snapped closed, green eyes peering up at the impressively tall figure in front of her. The way he presented himself and the reputation he brought with him made her whole body buzz with anticipation; he was going to be a joy to guide around and leech money from.
“My name is Baccarat, and I’m the concierge. I’d be happy to show you around, unless you’ve got plans already.”

✖ – | Oh my. Ribs, wings, potatoes, and so much more overwhelmed her senses, causing her stomach to rumble. Just her luck that a big group would enter the bar and order all that food, meanwhile she only had one plate because that’s what she could afford. Stealing wasn’t in her nature so she just couldn’t bring herself to do that either.
While she was lost in her thoughts, the majority of the bar patrons took their leave, not wanting to get on the Kid Pirates bad side. Even if she were paying attention to what was going on around her, she wouldn’t have left anyway. The girl was simply not knowledgeable on the pirate crew as world news tended to fly over her head.
Gathering her courage-- or more like giving into her stomach’s desires, Lily stood up from her seat at the bar and walked over to the table where the group was enjoying themselves. They all looked kind of funny. What kind of style was that?
She raised a hand in a small wave as she greeted, “Hi, it’s nice to meet you.”
