yo do you have any tips on drawing hands? the way u draw them is so 🫶🫶

Hi! I'm not sure if I can give good (or clear) advice but I'm happy to try!

I mainly rely on squares and rectangles just to get the vague impression of a 'hand shape' that way I can just let my brain fill in the rest? If that makes sense

Looking at pictures of hands and then simplifying them to the bare minimum works really good (for me at least) to build familiarity and then being able to understand which parts of the hand can move which way and such. I really just have fun with it, I've sort of conditioned myself into not worrying about hands since middle school after years of drawing hands strictly behind backs HSHDBSJS

These are some examples from recent sketches where even if I just winged it but there's still a (sort of) structure there!

Do you think Kirk listens to wham! And does Spock get annoyed by it? Personally I think Kirk jams out to Club Tropicana and Edge of Heaven every morning to get him ready for the day. ^_^

Hell yeah!! I think Jim listens to 60s-70s music with a strong lean towards girl groups, weekend mornings are filled with music playing while they cook breakfast and clean the house. Spock doesn't get annoyed but he can only be forced to dance to pop so many times :-P
