sorry but I'm starting to believe that a lot of white trans men (like a lot of white people) have un examined white guilt instead of analyzing that they wanna turn to other trans men and say "you know you're privileged right?"
it's so annoying to see people argue that masculinity is always praised as if black masculinity is not seen as dangerous. like come on now while yes cis black men do benefit from male privilege it only happens when they aren't being seen as a threat. if you are a "threat" no amount of masculinity is gonna make you seem less so.
remember emmett till? his status as a cis black boy only made him more threatening to that white woman, not less. he got lynched because he was a black boy. do not try and argue otherwise. he was accused of sexually harassing a white woman and due to perceptions of black masculinity, he died. masculinity can be just as feared and hated as being feminine if you are seen as a threat.
shout out to the psych 210 class at university of washington for chasing a white supremacist right out of not only the lecture hall but the campus as well. more people need to fear being hateful assholes
love that i can recognize stannis in fanart just by the expression. he's always sulking even when someone makes the funniest joke. and it's accurate
"she played her shot in the dark, i can feel it" is crazy work. and she was right.
there was someone on Instagram who was fundraising for her 32nd birthday. she wanted to have a "twice as sweet 16" (her name for her 32nd, not mine) since she was recovering from an intense surgery when she was 16, making her unable to celebrate her sweet 16 properly.
there really is a beauty in growing old, like 32 isn't even old but I see many people my age thinking that life ends after your 20s. but life only ends when you stop breathing and your body and mind aren't running any more. there is always time for joy, there is always time to celebrate your birthday no matter how old you get.
