hey guys. so, unfortunately i have been fighting both tumblr and hotmail for the past week or so to try and get my account back. i don’t know what happened or why, but i shortly remember trying to log in since saturday or so, and for some reason when i type my password, it says it is invalid. it’s weird because i haven’t changed it, and there’s not way to get both accounts back because the password is not working. and when i try to reset it, it delivers a code to my other hotmail account which i can’t log into either because of the same password issue. anyways, this was a long explanation but i just wanted to let you guys know. i’ve only been able to post here because i have the app on my phone. so, while this is the only way to post for you guys, i’m gonna do it on my phone. just in case anything happens, i’ve created a second account. one that i have total access to and i’ll be shortly posting/reblogging over there. the secondary account is pilotsedit.tumblr.com and i would really appreciate if u guys could follow me there. sorry again for the long explanation, and i’m extremely sad, upset, and pissed off. i’ve been trying to recover my account for over a week in every way possible. also, thanks for the almost 4k. 💛 and if you guys know how i could get my account back to log in, please let me know.

If anyone Chrome-savvy could help me out, that’d be great.

I’m using Firefox right now. Last night while using Chrome (my usual browser) I logged out of one blog to check another and the log in box wouldn’t appear. Even after refreshing the page, restarting my laptop and even reinstalling Chrome, it wouldn’t work. Even now, it’s not working, but I’ve also noticed that the comment sections of certain web pages aren’t appearing, and that avatars on a forum I visit aren’t visible either. Tumblr Support say it’s definitely the browser, and that I should disable all extensions, add-ons, and plug-ins and then turn them back on one at a time until I find the one causing the issue. I’ve done this, refreshed Tumblr on Chrome many times, and nothing has changed. I’m getting more than a little frustrated at this point and have even contacted Chrome support as well, though I have yet to hear anything.

Has this ever happened to anyone else? How did you fix it? I really hate having to use an unfamiliar browser (no offense, Firefox) so pretty please, can anybody help me?

I can’t log into Tumblr using Chrome for some reason, like I was randomly logged out and can’t log in now, but I can log in on like Mozilla. I am so confused.

Hey tumblr/staff, So why can't I log in through the web browser (firefox) on my laptop. Like it just says logging in, and returns me to the log in page.
