This past week I've been at a film camp (which is why I havent been on much) and today is the day when we compete. My Crew, Petty Cash Records, could win $1000 dollars and it would mean to world to me if you voted for us! I've spent over 72 hours working on this and I'm proud of our film, "Log Off?"! Tonight, from 7:00 to 8:30, our films will be on channel 10 or you watch the live stream on ChannelAustin.org. Please tell me what you think of the film if you're able to see it and please vote! How to Vote: Twitter rules: Tweet to: @channel_Austin. Include the crew name and the film name that you want to win with hashtag #iYFF in the tweet. Example: @channel_Austin I want crew Muffins with film Blueberries to win the #iYFF prize tonight! Facebook rules: At about 8pm or so there will be 4 status updates listing the name of the crew and the title of their film. Viewers must 'like' the post with the corresponding crew name and film title they wish to vote for. Although comments are encouraged, they are not counted as votes. All votes through Facebook will only be counted once. Time Rules: Voting can only be done during a ten minute period, once announced by the MC during the live show -- sometime around 8:00p.m.or so. All 'tweets' and facebook 'likes' outside of the announced time limit will not be counted. So once our host, Alex Giddings, explains the rules and announces voting is now open -- there will only be 10 minutes in which to vote. There will be a simultaneous tweet, and Facebook post to start the voting off at exactly the time Alex announces that voting is now open.
