Rory had still be on maternity leave but she was getting antsy staying at home. It had only been a little over a month and she hadn't been back to the office at all. Only close family members had met baby Nellie so far, but since she was past the first month, Rory felt that it was okay for others to start meeting her. "Knock, knock," she said as knocked on the wall by where Logan's desk was, "I've got the scoop for you. Youngest reporter in history hired by Kismet Harbor." She said with a slight Google as she brought the stroller into view, "figured you'd want to be the first to interview her."

    “Oh, Logan. You’re back rather soon.” Loki let the temptation to smile or even smirk wither on the vine. “I was going to text you, but, the reception around here is masterfully consistent only at being inconsistent.”

    They had at least agreed upon some watering hole around the bend where the forest met for the trees in the outer city as a temporary base of operations. If this whole frolic in the forest bit suddenly turned competitive and bloody, Loki didn’t trust meeting in either of their assigned homes in front of the gibbering eyes of their roommates.

    Might have been less severe of an issue were it not for Loki’s gibbering mouth.

    “I believe that robot woman said something about team names. I guess we’re not official yet without one.” Loki was about to answer with whatever came to mind first, but had the sudden idea to ask. (Asking before answering was ever the rarity with the God of Mischief. Cherish it.) “I don’t suppose you have any ideas first, Lorgan...?”

Another attempt

@dealwithitbub People were talking. Some of the students were buzzing about a new guy around, one she had glimpsed for just a moment (wide shoulders, caramel skin, and an impressive face), and a mission. While Scott's mission was fun and she dearly appreciated the fact a chance had been extended to her without proper X-Men status approval, she really wanted to know more about this. Some of the kids talked to her, maybe because they weren't here when she was taken in or out of their good hearts, who knows, but she managed to gather very little extra information. Mutant, looking a team, talk to Logan about it. Damn... Well, might as well take that bull by its horns. "Sugah?" She approached the man's current hideout with carefully but calm steps, trying to keep to her politeness. Focus on the mission, girl. "You got a minute?" And pray that they could move past this already.
