You spent most of your childhood going from Mount Wells to the city and back. Summers were completely different from the rest of the year for you. Your parents got divorced when you were a kid and you quickly got used to all the travelling that brought about. You didn’t mind living in both houses, having two rooms filled with your stuff, having friends in both places. It wasn’t all perfect, but it was a happy childhood nonetheless. Both your mother and your father spoiled you rotten as if you were a royal prince; so much that you might have ended up believing it. Your brother Harvey was also always there for you, protecting you from every bad situation that was thrown your way. He was by your side when kids bullied you for being too short in primary school, and when you hit the growth spurt Harvey was there to stop anyone who messed with you for being too tall. Your older brother wasn’t someone easy to anger at all, but he seemed to have a knack for getting into trouble when it came to defending you - and you were always grateful, even if you didn’t show it.

In the blink of an eye high school was over and along came college. You wanted to be a teacher, but you also were also looking forward to having fun and partying. Perhaps a bit too much, if one were to ask your brother; especially after the accident. About four months ago, you were leaving a party and drunkenly driving your truck when you fell asleep on the wheel and ran over one of the park benches. Fortunately nothing more than that happened, but the police came soon enough, alerted by the neighbours, and you spent the night in jail. Harvey was the first person to find out. He went to the rescue, bailed you out, and promised not to tell anyone about what happened, only if you promised not to do it ever again in return. You were already on thin ice with your mother, and she had warned you that next time you got into trouble, she was sending you to live with your father permanently. Fortunately Harvey also took the blame for destroying the truck, which has provoked a tense mood of disappointment between the family. You still feel guilty about what happened, and you can only hope one day you can return your older brother the favor.
