Braun to the 15-Day Disabled List

After having missed six games due to a right oblique strain Brewers’ star outfielder Ryan Braun was officially moved to the 15-day disabled list on Saturday. Braun’s stint on the disabled list, only the second in his entire career, will be retroactive to April 27th. He will be available to play for the Brewers again on May 12th.

#MLB Roster Moves: #Brewers Place Logan Schafer On 15-Day DL

According to MLB Roster Moves, The Milwuakee Brewers have placed OF Logan Schafer on the 15-Day DL with a right hamstring strain, retroactive to 4/18.

In a corresponding move, the team has reinstated 1B Lyle Overbay from the paternity list.

Schafer, 27, was hitting .214 with 2 RBI’s in 10 games for the Brewers, serving as a backup outfielder and pinch-hitter.
