I read some stuff and these have been my thoughts

Why do religions want the people of that religion to simplify their point of view so they can have a "child-like faith"? It makes me think about the Dunning-Kruger Effect and how people who think they are smart are not. Knowledge is going to kill religion one day. Religion is based off of stories that people wrote and that told one another. Religion is based upon what someone else teaches you and you must believe them even if your mind tells you it's false and it makes no sense to you. The fact that people think they know the truth behind the whole universe baffles me. We only scientifically know about 4% of the universe and scientist can argue that since we know it's mostly made up of stars and galaxies that just continues through.
